Meet Justin
Avithal Justin Chanka
Justin was 3 months old when he was diagnosed with a condition called pulmonary atresia. He had his first heart surgery when he was 7 months old; after this he would go on to have 3 major open heart surgeries at CHEO in Ottawa Canada.
Justin’s last procedure was December 2024 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
Our hope is to have the ability to support kids and parents of kids that share similar conditions as the financial responsibilities can be astronomically and many families never recover economically or sometimes even emotionally.
